Developed during the Second World War for the U.S. Navy, to repair battle-damaged hulls and ruptured piping at sea — without welding, under adverse conditions. The Cordobond Strong-Back system exceeded Navy performance requirements and has been refined ever since. The repair kit is carried aboard more than 4,000 sea-going vessels including the United States and other navies, and is specified by major airlines and industrial firms worldwide.
