Devcon
Also known as: Devcon plastic steel · Metal repair putty · Epoxy putty · Cold weld · Steel filled epoxy · Underwater putty · Devcon epoxy
Metal-filled epoxy putties that rebuild worn and damaged metal without welding or hot work — mixed by hand, cured at room temperature, then drilled, tapped and machined like the parent metal. Eleven grades stocked at our Deira counter in 500 g two-part kits.

Devcon invented the metal-filled epoxy putty, and Plastic Steel Putty (A) has been in continuous production for over seventy years. On a tanker, in a tank, or anywhere a naked flame is out of the question, a cold epoxy repair does what a welder cannot — no permit, no fire watch, no gas-freeing. Mix the two parts by hand, trowel it on, and machine it back to size the next morning.
No welding, no permit
Cold-applied epoxy — safe in tanks, engine rooms and confined spaces where hot work is prohibited.
Machinable when cured
Drill, tap, turn and paint. Titanium Putty reaches 105 MPa compressive strength and 177°C dry service.
Works underwater
Wet Surface Repair Putty bonds to damp, running and fully submerged surfaces with no need to dry the substrate.
