About this product
Woven glass cloth is the reinforcement in a Strong-Back laminate: the resin bonds and seals, the cloth carries the load. Laid over a cleaned area and wetted out with Standard Resin, successive layers build a repair that approaches the strength of the plate it replaces — which is what makes it a permanent fix rather than a patch. The value of a cold repair system is that it needs no welding. Hot work in a tank, a pump room or near a fuel line means a permit, a gas-free certificate and a fire watch — and often it is simply not allowed. A resin-and-glass repair can be made where a torch cannot go.
