About this product
Glass tape is the narrow form of the same reinforcement, sized for pipework, seams and edges where a full cloth is unwieldy. Wrapped around a leaking line and wetted out with resin, it builds a pressure-bearing repair without hot work — which matters on a system that cannot be drained or gas-freed. The value of a cold repair system is that it needs no welding. Hot work in a tank, a pump room or near a fuel line means a permit, a gas-free certificate and a fire watch — and often it is simply not allowed. A resin-and-glass repair can be made where a torch cannot go.
