About this product
A steel-filled putty for rebuilding lost metal — pitted plate, wasted flange faces, scored shafts — before or instead of laminating. It fills and holds shape on a vertical surface, and machines once cured. The value of a cold repair system is that it needs no welding. Hot work in a tank, a pump room or near a fuel line means a permit, a gas-free certificate and a fire watch — and often it is simply not allowed. A resin-and-glass repair can be made where a torch cannot go.
